Wendy Owens

Wendy Owens

Wendy Owens, lead singer of Wendy Owens and Renegade. A country band that is from Elmira, NY. They play in country bars in New York and in Pennsylvania. Their home page is Wendy Owens and Renegade I took this picture without a flash, using a fast (f 1.8) lens. The lower the F stop, the faster the lens is. Confusing to say the least. It allows more light to come into the picture so you can use a faster shutter speed. That way you don't have to use a flash. With a flash, you lose a lot of the color of the lights that most band use. I occasionally take pictures of the band. I got this particular picture from: Wendy's Picture

Lincoln Memorial

Lincoln Memorial

The Lincoln Memorial, located in Washington DC. One of the major memorial and momuments that is on the "Must See" list of places to visit when visiting Washington DC. I went with my parents this past fall to see Washington DC. My cousin Tim met us there and gave us a ride around in his car to see a lot of the sites that normally not seen. I took this picture during the evening and about the same time that I took the Washington Monument picture below. I got the picture from: Lincoln Memorial picture

I took this picture also and got it from: Washington Monument picture

Water reflections

Reflections

I took this particular picture coming to college last summer. It was located near Little Marsh on route 249. I was driving in around 7 am, and saw the fog on the marsh and stopped my car and took lots of pictures as I thought they looked pretty nice. This is one of best reflection pictures I've ever taken. You can't see the fog in the particular picture, but I thought this was still a beautiful picture. I got the picture from here: Reflection picture
